  • 1 pound fresh scallops (preferably sea scallops) Use dry-packed scallops for best results.
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted Melt before using.
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Lemon slices, for garnish (optional)

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Lightly grease a baking dish with melted butter.
  3. In a bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
  4. Arrange scallops in a single layer in the prepared baking dish.
  5. Spoon the garlic butter mixture over the scallops, making sure they are well-coated.
Cooking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, until scallops are opaque and slightly firm.
  2. Garnish with fresh lemon slices and serve immediately.
