Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook the egg noodles according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and cook until translucent. Season with salt and pepper.
- Stir in the cream of mushroom soup and milk. Mix well until combined.
- Add the cooked noodles and frozen mixed vegetables to the skillet. Toss everything together gently.
Baking
- Layer the mixture in a greased casserole dish. Top with shredded cheddar cheese, generously.
- Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
- Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve warm!
