Ingredients
  

For the Marinade
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 limes Juice of 2 limes Freshly squeezed for best flavor
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder Adjust according to spice preference
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • to taste Salt and pepper
Main Ingredients
  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts Substitute with thighs if preferred
  • optional Fresh cilantro for garnish Adds a fresh touch

Method
 

Marination
  1. In a bowl, combine the lime juice, olive oil, chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Add chicken breasts and ensure they are well-coated. Cover and rest for at least 20 minutes, up to 2 hours.
Cooking
  1. Preheat grill to medium-high heat or heat a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Place marinated chicken on the grill or skillet. Cook for 6-7 minutes on each side until internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
Serving
  1. Remove chicken from heat, let it rest for a few minutes. Slice, garnish with fresh cilantro, and serve immediately.

Notes

For best flavor, marinate chicken longer. Use a meat thermometer to avoid overcooking.
