Marination
- In a bowl, combine the lime juice, olive oil, chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Add chicken breasts and ensure they are well-coated. Cover and rest for at least 20 minutes, up to 2 hours.
Cooking
- Preheat grill to medium-high heat or heat a skillet over medium heat.
- Place marinated chicken on the grill or skillet. Cook for 6-7 minutes on each side until internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
Serving
- Remove chicken from heat, let it rest for a few minutes. Slice, garnish with fresh cilantro, and serve immediately.
