Ingredients

Main ingredients
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced Use fresh strawberries for optimal taste.
  • 2 cups plain or vanilla yogurt Greek yogurt works beautifully.
  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup Optional, depending on taste.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract If using plain yogurt.
  • 1 pinch salt

Method

Preparation
  1. Begin by hulling the strawberries and slicing them into thin pieces. Set them aside in a bowl.
  2. In a separate bowl, combine the yogurt, honey or maple syrup (if you prefer sweetness), vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Stir well until it’s smooth and combined.
  3. Add the sliced strawberries into the yogurt mixture, gently folding to combine without mashing the berries.
  4. Using a spoon or a piping bag, carefully fill silicone molds or ice cube trays with the strawberry-yogurt mixture. Tap them lightly on the counter to remove air bubbles.
  5. Place the molds in the freezer for at least 4 hours or until the bites are completely frozen.
  6. Pop the bites out of their molds and serve immediately, or store them in an airtight container for later enjoyment.

Notes

These Strawberry Yogurt Bites can be stored in an airtight container in your freezer for up to a month. They are best enjoyed straight out of the freezer on a hot day.
