Ingredients
  

For the bread
  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1.5 cups milk
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 2 large eggs
For the topping
  • Additional sugar and cinnamon

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan with butter or cooking spray.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the milk, melted butter, and eggs until well combined.
  4. Gradually pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients, stirring gently until just combined.
  5. Transfer the batter into the prepared loaf pan. In a small bowl, combine additional sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle it generously over the top of the batter.
Baking
  1. Place the loaf in the preheated oven and bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  2. Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for 3-5 days or freeze for up to 2-3 months. Reheat slices in the microwave for 20–30 seconds or in the oven at 350°F until warm.
